The Find panel's box and buttons are not in observe/find output; use screenshot to see it. It opens prefilled with an old term, selected, so typing replaces it. Escape closed it, but the first Escape seemed to do nothing; clicking its X by x/y did not close it. Status bar updates only after Enter.
